FrameHand ("the app") explains here how the app handles your information.
FrameHand does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The app operates entirely on your device.
FrameHand requires access to your iPhone's camera and microphone to provide its core functionality — real-time subject tracking and video recording. This data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
FrameHand uses Apple's Vision framework to detect the position of faces in the live camera feed in real time. This is used solely to keep you centered in the frame while recording. No face data of any kind is collected, stored, shared, or transmitted. Face position information exists only in active memory during camera operation and is discarded immediately as each frame is processed. FrameHand does not perform facial recognition and does not generate or retain any biometric identifiers.
FrameHand saves recorded videos to your iPhone's Photos library. This is the only data the app writes to your device, and it is under your full control at all times.
FrameHand does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party.
FrameHand does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.
FrameHand does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
